FROM THE HEART OF OUR PROCESSES WE CREATE A DIFFERENT KIND OF MINING, FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TERRITORY AND ITS PEOPLE
RISK MANAGEMENT IN PROCESSES (GRP)
Process Risk Management (PRM) is our operational model, and therefore the way we work at CMP. PRM allows us to identify hazards, evaluate and control existing risks; minimize or eliminate variability in our processes and uncertainty in execution throughout our value chain; and protect all our workers and the productive business in all its areas.
The model answers the questions:
- What do we want to do?
- What conditions do we have?
- What could go wrong?
- How do we control it?
RISK MANAGEMENT OBJECTIVES
- Minimize or eliminate process variability and execution uncertainty throughout the value chain.
- Effectively protect all workers and the productive business in all areas.
This system includes six stages, where the first three are planning phases, completing the process map, roles and matrix plan. Then a risk matrix is made,
gaps and criticality. Finally, we work on mitigation and control plans, training
and WR/Preventive.
Stage four is the execution stage, in which work procedures are performed flawlessly and according to instructions. Stage five is verification, where verification and authorization are performed, performance and predictability are reviewed. The last stage corresponds to learning, where incident investigation, feedback and root cause analysis are performed.
