21 Nov, 2022

Compañía Minera del Pacífico (CMP), committed to the sustainable development of the territory and its people, and as part of its Acción Emprende program, will reward the good ideas and efforts of 100 women leaders from the province of Huasco, who will have the opportunity to be part of an innovative business incubation program.

The call is open to one hundred women entrepreneurs from the municipalities of Huasco, Freirina and Vallenar, who stand out in various productive sectors, such as tourism, gastronomy, business, commerce and services, creative industries, public sector, mining, among others.

Those selected will receive a series of strategic tools for planning, management, communication and sales, focusing on the entrepreneur's identity in order to be recognized, differentiate themselves and grow their business idea. The project will feature prominent speakers, mentors and national and international experts.

"We understand that the pandemic pushed many women to reinvent themselves and create new ventures, and as a company we want to support this initiative that will help the sustainable development of many entrepreneurs, who are a fundamental pillar in the families of the territory," said CMP's general manager, Francisco Carvajal, who was recently appointed ambassador of the Hay Mujeres Foundation, due to the company's commitment to inclusion and women's leadership.

Winners

During the experience, the leaders will go through different stages, ending with the definition of a group of winners, who will have the opportunity to take a trade mission trip to Buenos Aires, where they will meet with specialized mentors and visit the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem of the trans-Andean capital, in addition to having bilateral international networking meetings.
