On Thursday, February 10, and in line with the obligations established in the environmental authorizations, workers of the Humeres company received training on paleontology and archeology, learning about what could be found in the area of influence of the DRF and the protocols to follow in case the aforementioned collaborating company is executing the Coastal Road project, which in addition to constituting the initial works of the Filtered Tailings Deposit (DRF) Pellet Plant, will facilitate the movement for the development of community, tourist and productive activities in the territory.

It is worth mentioning that, to date, 41 archaeological finds have been found, being recovered with the necessary care so that they can later be transferred to the Paleontological Museum of Caldera, being available to everyone.

At the event, Jorge Sepúlveda, head of engineering for the Filtered Tailings Deposit project, said that "for us it is a very important milestone to start the Coastal Road, which is part of all the works that we are going to have during the development of the DRF. There was no better way to begin these works than by emphasizing paleontology and archeology, which are topics of great interest to the community as well".
